THE SAVOY HOTEL, LONDON

 

Located in the Beaufort Bar, this vine relief was created using a combination of sandblast etching and hand carving.

 

Working from an original design by Pierre Yves Rochon, Daedalian transposed the design into a detailed stencil with which to guide the complex and precise etching and carving needed to create such a detailed relief.
