Since Daedalian’s founding in 1986, our philosophy has always been to maintain the highest standards in design, manufacture and service and this is still true today. As trends in interior design and glass manufacture have changed, Daedalian Glass has changed as well, taking each new technique and style in its stride. Whether you buy one of our standard products, or employ our bespoke design service you can be assured that we will constantly strive to give you the best there is to offer, in glass design and customer service.

As Daedalian grew through the early 1990’s we expanded and eventually moved to new premises in 1996. This provided us with the resources to take on large scale projects, in some prestigious locations. In 1997 we were a contributor in the restoration of Windsor Castle and in 2000 we completed work at The Belfry hotel, UK headquarters of the PGA . Further work facilitating the design and manufacturing Worcester Cathedral’s Millennium window, followed by modular screens in the exclusive Ebor Stand at York Racecourse boosting Daedalian’s reputation and showed our true potential in creating dynamic and innovative designs in glass.

Our team is lead by Chris and Davia. Davia runs the place as founder and creative director. She works on the original design work when our clients use our design service and make sure everyone turns up on time. Chris handles the boring bits, like sales and estimating and comes up with ideas to help us reach our clients better.

Luke is in charge of our CAD facilities. He designed this very site and makes our design work come alive with his erudite use of the mouse and keyboard.

Tom W is our London and South East sales and marketing champion. As we do work for some of the most reputable hotels, restaurants, houses and offices we end up doing a great deal of work in the South East.

Sue is in charge of our laminating and kiln work. She does the highly skilled job of making sure a lot of our designs and projects become reality. She is a technician of the highest calibre and has a mean eye for specks of dust.

Rick is our installations manager. He spends his days travelling the country making sure that when our clients get hold of their shiny new glass, they don’t break it! He has been fitting glass for years and what he hasn’t seen doesn’t exist.

Tom M is our sandblaster sans frontier. His job is to ensure the great many sandblasted and etched jobs go off without a hitch. With a sardonic whit that belies an artistic flair essential to creating some of the more subtle etchings we do.

That is our core team. Although we all have set roles we are a close nit bunch and help each other out a lot. We all have a collective knowledge of glass and design that is unparalleled as far as we are concerned.
